Congratulations to Adam Gee who was appointed as referee for the 2023 NRL Grand Final, Penrith Panthers v Brisbane Broncos on Sunday 1st October Accor Stadium, kick off 7:30pm.

This appointment capped off a fantastic season for Adam, and an extremely consistent Finals Series!
In achieving this appointment, Adam became the first Canterbury Referee in 42 years to referee a First-Grade Grand Final, the last being Greg Hartley in 1981!
He also became only the 5th Canterbury Referee in history to referee a First-Grade Grand Final following:
  • Jack O’Brien – 1940, 1942, 1943, 1944, 1947, 1951, 1954
  • Jack Bradley – 1962
  • Keith Holman – 1971
  • Greg Hartley – 1981* Greg refereed 5 Grand Finals, but only 1 as a CB member.
Needless to say, we are all so proud of Adam and his continued achievements!
